If Haney isn't the champ why does he have 2 mandatory defenses?

Teo is the champion. The belts mean nothing but I recognise who the true lightweight champion is.

Haney might have a belt but it doesn’t mean anything. You must’ve missed the point. I’m always consistent in saying the ABC belts mean nothing. I just wanna see the best fighters fight the best fighters. Lopez has proven he’s a top level fighter by beating Loma and Commey. Haney hasn’t proven he’s even top 10 yet. So I don’t care that he holds a belt.

You ask questions but don’t answer them. I’ll ask you again: Who has Haney fought or beat to suggest he could even be competitive with Teofimo Lopez?

Which belt has Ali's photo on it? The franchise title or the lightweight championship belt?

Some fighters want to fight the best, and the best just come with the title as a bonus. Haney showed that all he cared about was being called the WBC champion, without earning it by beating the best.
Who was the best he was supposed to fight? I'm sure you'd agree Haney vs Campbell would have been Haney beating the best for the WBC right? That's who he was supposed to fight and Lomachenko & Top Rank came in and took his spot. Lomachenko is the best right? That's who he wanted to fight after getting his vacant shot snatched from under him then they made up a fictitious title to keep Haney for fighting for it. So when Loma vacated who was the best available at lightweight Haney was supposed to fight? Teo was scheduled to fight Commey. Those were the best 2 available & neither was with the WBC. So Haney was supposed to wait over a year until Loma & Teo fought?

        You make zero sense

He cried to the WBC to get the belt through email. That is what is on boxers and fans minds. His unfortunate wait times is just that, unfortunate. He does not have the makings of a top fighter. Already has a bad start and has gained 0 respect from his peers or fans.

Fighters will be hated on, disliked by boxers and fans. But one thing is boxers like Mayweather who were hated by his peers and they talked a lot of sh.t about him is that they respect his skills and ability to beat the best. You mention Ali, also hated on by fans and fighters, for a few reasons including his trash talking and skin color. But was always respected and eventually loved by most in the 70s.

Haney is just plain simple not liked and not respected. Whatever the case may be, what ever got him to the situation where he had to have Hearn email WBC to win a title through email, is unfortunate and I understand what happened. But in the end he won his title through email.

GGG waited longer than that btw, to finally get the title shot he was owed. He didn’t send any emails to try to obtain the title without fighting anyone for it. And I am not a fan of GGG at all. Many fighters actually, have been in Haney’s position and waited patiently. They did not act like a princess and email the organization to hand over the title. I wonder if he is enjoying his WBC title, with absolutely no one in the boxing world giving him any respect for it.

Its all simple to straighten out though. Teo the real champion just has to take Haney’s belt off him then lifes back to normal. Unless him and Bob are scared.
Exactly and that's not his fault. I'm sure Haney would have preferred to win the belt in the ring and hopefully Devin gets the Garcia-Campbell winner and/or Javier Fortuna next. That will give him an opportunity to prove himself at the top level.

Facts! And all these fans who've been calling for less belts all these years have openly embraced this bull****. It's not even a real belt that's what makes it worse. They're accepting a ruling that changes by the hour. No consistency to it at all. Now that it's served it's purpose they're talking about getting rid of it.

I addressed your specific points about him needing to fight great fighters and asked you who was available that wasn't snatched from him or vacated the title to accept a made up designation and you come back filibustering with not one single name. Like I said. You make no sense
