He needs to take the time to recover and then do the rematch with Nakatani once he's back. Maybe he can avenge the Lozada lost tooComment

He can compete at the top level, but he can't win at the top level. Thats about right from what we've seen so far.Comment

He might be an Orlando Salido or a Ray Boom Boom Mancini. Some fighters aren't meant to go undefeated. Some fighters have to lose quite a bit or one good time (or two), before they get it right. Verdejo has a lot to learn. Perhaps with the right trainer, he'll be a champion one day.Comment

It doesn't matter how he looks in the beginning of fights, if he can't finish them because he severely gets gassed out then he can't compete.Comment

Top Rank are the Masters of blowing smoke up fans as****, and some gullible people out there actually buy it. They will say things like Crawford is P4P best ( even though he hasn't beat anyone of relevance) they will tell you Loma is P4P best ( even though he lost to Salido, never fought him again to prove it was a fluke and was somewhat protected until Top Rank got a real star in Lopez and fed him Loma knowing well that Loma was never as good as people made him up to be) but hey, it's business, and as long there's fans out there who eat up this sh**, they will continue to do it, and people will buy.Comment
