Boxingscene is owned by CBS/Showtime which works closely (and almost exclusively) with PBC. That is why they throw a bone and suggest GGG is on the short list "along with Charlo and Errol Spence". Neither Charlo nor Spence are Canelo's list and especially not Spence. Has Spence ever fought at 168? 160? 154? Why would he be on Canelo's list in front of BJS, Plant, Bivol, Yildrim, or any of the 160 champs? Canelo could ifght 6x next year and still have about 20 more worthy opponents than a champion at WW lmfao

Canelo looked very solid at 168 in the Smith fight. I never really thought he would look like a comfortable 168lber but he does. I would imagine it would take some effort to cut 8 pounds of muscle and he wouldn't go through that effort for just any fight.
