Comments Thread For: Hearn: Arum, Absolutely No One Wants To Give Anthony Joshua Any Credit

Well said. I can't wait to read all the farfetched excuses delusional Fury's fanboys are going make after AJ has dismantled and knocked out Fury next summer.Arum and Hearn have this childish beef going on so yes, Arum will be reluctant to hype Hearns fighter unless it benefits him in some way. Joshuas performance was good but it was against a past prime boxer.
Boxers have their haters. The more more famous you are, more more haters you get. Joshua haters won't give him credit until he knocks out Fury and even if he does that some still won't. It is what it is.Comment

So you were able to make sense of his rebuttal?Just ignore Rexy, Joshua could cure Covid and cancer and Rexy would say meh. He hates Joshua soooo much for some reason. I get it AJ has some very loud fanboys and I get it Hearn has put himself across too arrogant but Rexy is hardcore, there is nothing anybody can say, there is nothing Joshua could do that would bring out the none salty bitter side of Rexy.
I think Rexy is Lennox Lewis. You know, a bit of a twat.Comment

Hearn prefacing a statement with, "To be honest..." confirms he's trying to spin something.
I think Joshua got lots of props for the way he beat Vlad, getting off the canvas to take it late. But other than a couple other KOs, it doesn't feel like a stellar reign at the top.
If he fights Wilder twice, Fury twice, and goes 4-0, then absolutely Eddie will have a right to complain.Comment

A below average opponent who has only ever been beaten by Klitschko despite fighting at the top level?Reading this article, you would think Hearn was doing a foghorn leghorn impression. C'mon, these articles need to be written better.
Anyway, it sounds to me like Hearn and AJ fans for that matter, don't want AJ criticized. Arum said he wasn't impressed, which is a critique, not non credit. And Arum is actually not wrong. AJ was not impressive. He had a decent performance against a below average opponent which is very unimpressive. Also whats wrong with that? AJ did what he had to do, got the win, got the highlight reel knock out, his fans wet they pants his haters remain salty, such is boxing.
You AJ fans need to get over yourselves.
You need to get serious, your bias is ridiculous. How is beating a top 5 opponent who has beaten everyone in the sport bar Klitschko not impressive?
Pulev beats all Americans, only AJ, Fury and Usyk are better. Ridiculous comments you made.
AJ made Pulev look below average.Comment

He has a 88% KO record whilst fighting the toughest opponents consistently (by some distance) of any of the heavyweights....It’s because Joshua is an absolute nib I tried to like him initially because I thought he would be exciting to watch because of some of the early in fights when he would stick his tongue out and be ****y but I have seen that he only does that to people he knows he can beat which we’re just the cab drivers early on so you can see for the most part it’s actually all an act it’s easy to see that he’s so scared of the big dogs he doesn’t want to even talk about the big dogs only talks about people he knows will beat him easily he doesn’t even have a style he fights some style that someone else came up with and it looks terrible
Don’t really need to say anymore than that.Comment

He’s already just beaten Ruiz... wilders previously turned down 100 mil and fury has been offered 50% just now.
As for Usyk being a mismatch, you clearly don’t know boxing if you think Usyk isn’t credible as an opponent.Comment

The real elite fighters correct their mistakes after a defeat fight. AJ is getting more and more versatile in the ring, he can adjust and fight deferent styles if necessary now.
I can't wait to see AJ destroys Fury. Apart from the Wilder II fight Fury's fights are damn boring to watch. People are talking as if he's technically skilled as Floyd Mayweather, he isn't. He got hit by c level boxers more than often. AJ is an explosive combo boxer with a devastating power in both arms.Comment
