I'm not saying aj is bad. He's simply not fighting the best around. Fury, Joyce, Yoka, Ajagba, Hrgovic, Parker again...even Wilder...fight and win vs these and he'll be recognized.

A top 3 guy doesn't fight Seferi and Pianeta, do they? They also generally won't be considered top 3 if they look like they're about to keel over from a heart attack.
Fury looks great since his win over Wilder. Before Wilder v Fury I was agreed let's be honest with ourselves and admit that Fury looked like he should be nowhere near a championship title fight.

If you compare his resume to the other top current heavyweights it stacks up very well. He needs to fight Fury to really get the credibility that he wants though, I'll agree with you on that count; but evidently they are trying to make it happen.

Yes Parker was defeated by ud, but in a strange match where every attack was halted by the referee. I'd like to see another match where aj defeats him more convincingly. Parker is very good imo, simply not huge like others hw.
The untested boxers are so at the pro level, but they had great amateurs careers.

Not long ago Joyce was a robotic bum .
Wilder and Fury declined AJ .
As the thread title states AJ won’t get credit no matter who he defeats so why pretend ? You just did it yourself with stating his wins were against past prime guys ,guys who posters favored over Joyce .
