this will actually be the first time Canelo has ever faced a mandatory. Funny thing is, mandatories he’s had in the past were Ggg and canelo dropped his belt instead of facing him, Derveyenchenko and canelo ended up getting stripped of his ibf title, and Charlo which is when the Wbc stripped him but created the very prestigious franchise title. Funny that now, when Yidilgrim is the mandatory, canelo feels the string desire to fulfill this important obligation.

I really blame David Benavidez for all this mess. If he had been more professional and not lost his WBC title on the scales then this con wouldn't have been possible.

Im not hating I'm just stating. Canelo should fight champs like Floyd did. F#ck mandatories. Canelo is biggest thing in boxing so he can fight other champions that are less easy and predictable like Charlo or Andrade. Be nice to fight a champ from USA for a change ya think?
