I'm OK with it, only fought once in 2020 so yeah take this fight Get Yildirim out of the way without taking any Damage then a Big Fight for May 2021

Please do not even try to make this PPV though, should be on DAZN, Showtime, ESPN, FOX or even if another APP wants to pick it up like FITE, TRILLER or whoever willing to pay for it

Get it done keep the belts then unify against Plant or Saunders. Belts matter and mandatories need to be made it's boxing.

Relax! All those fight will happen...ALL OF THEM! Most said he wouldn't fight GGG, then said he wouldn't fight GGG again, then said he wouldn't fight Danny Jacobs and Canelo delivered all those fights. So yeah ZERO doubt in my mind Canelo jumps in with most of these guys fans are asking for

Now I will say that what is complete GARBAGE is taking this Mandatory but not taking the Charlo Mandatory and instead accepting Franchise at 160 now that I think was BS on Canelo's Part

Yep if this means he fights 3 times in 2021 awesome. He should unify 168 and keep the belts. Pulev and GGG made mandatory defences no issue here. Should be free to watch!

Canelo is the biggest star in boxing. He needs to fight for official belts only. Fighting these nurses assistants is pure nonsense.

Yeah I get that BUT in order to Unify 168 he has to take care of Mandatory Obligations just like AJ had to take care of Mandatory Obligations fighting Pulev recently

I don't even know why or HOW Yildirim is WBC Mandatory...I take that back, he is still here because F^cking Anthony Dirrell couldn't get the job done against him. Then Benavidez turned around and lost his damn Belt on the Scale. So technically this mess with the WBC at 168 was in place before Canelo won that Belt.

So Clean it up, get it out of the way then come right back in May for a Big Fight which I hope is indeed Charlo or Plant or Benavidez

If all goes according to plan, Canelo will have faced Smith, Yildrim, and then maybe BJS in a 6 month span.

No one else would have 2 fights as good as BJS and Smith in that span. He is also throwing in a tune up in between, in front of his hometown.
