Idk he looked good until 2019, so I guess he started to fade at 35/36

Fighters all age at their own rate. Fighters like Golovkin who rely on their chins don’t usually last as long as those who rely on good defense. Golovkin is still pretty good but nothing like he was 4-5 years ago. This last fight he looked slower than ever.

I think his prime was during the Lemieux fight, can't quite remember. I started seeing signs of fading during the Jacobs fight.

Yes, but you also have to account for the fact that a lot of his fights ended early.

I think his absolute prime started with the Ouma fight and probably started coming downhill after the Murray fight. Clearly he was still collecting wins after that point, but physically he was not where he once was (and so much of his style was based off who he was physically).

Save for someone taking serious PEDs, you just cant physically be in your prime into your mid 30s.

He hasn't looked good since 2016 when he fought kell brook, a welterweight. His prime years were before that.

Lmfao, no one who's damn near 40 is in their prime in professional boxing.

                    riiiiiiiiiight

so, the first time you noticed him slip... just so happened to be the first time Golovkin stepped up to fight a genuine world-class opponent?

                    wow, what a coincidence

most say he slipped before then, so they have an excuse for the way he performed in that fight

His prime is when he's knocking out bums. He is out of prime when he fights someone with a pulse and looks like sheeit.
