When was GGG’s prime and when did he start declining?

What year/fight would you say GGG was in his absolute prime?

And when did he start declining/getting old?

He's still in his prime he was just never as good as he was hyped up to me. Great amateur boxer but we all know amateur success doesn't mean jack s in the pros.

He's almost 39. He's not in his prime. Prime does not last ones entire career.

Fair enough. My point is just really I didn't see him learning anything or working on his craft since the olympics. He was a tough guy to beat back then, any American who boxed can tell you that.

You can laugh but he never really showed anything as a pro against elite opposition. He just steamrolled through this Kamal guy, that's no different from beating Matthew Macklin.

Why would Canelo wait to fight him after 35?

I started to notice a slowing in the Wade fight.

It wasn't the age it was cuz Kell Brook and Jacobs showed GGG was very beatable.
