Hey man I won't be surprised if he does excel. Just hard for me to tell for sure with some guys. Will definitely find you when he fights either way and see your thoughts on everything.Comment

1) Move up to 168 and face a top guy there
2) Fight Canelo at an acceptable weight for both guys
3) Fight Charlo or Andrade
The Charlo/Andrade fight is 3rd to me because I feel like those guys are still a bit unproven; imo they would be a great scalp, but if he does win, I think the narrative will shift that whoever he beat ******, and the other one was really the good one.
I think a win over a guy at 168 would do more for him, and obviously a result vs Canelo would do a lot for him as well.
Everyone just wants to wait around for the Canelo sweepstakes though, none of these guys even want to fight each other. It's pretty ridiculous.
Honestly I'd really like to see him match up with Plant or Benevidez. Looks like Mungia is a likely choice though. It would be a fun fight I guess. I like Mungia though and don't think he is quite ready for that step up. Who knows - maybe he is. I like him, he seems like a real fighter to me.Comment

Mate, literally everyone on this board thought that about Fury if they're being honest with themselves.I never used to think all that much of Fury, I remember watching him come up on the likes of Channel 5 where he'd often struggle more than he ought and even sometimes got hurt and dropped by smaller, minor fringe contenders. Just thought he was another guy whose only decent attribute was that he was big. He threw all of that out on its head when he beat Wlad. I was shocked when it happened. To be fair he had made huge improvements to his game in between those early fights and becoming world champion, he's really not the same fighter now as he used to be.
There was only me, Wraps and a few others on here who saw the quality in Fury from the beginning.Comment

All those fights would be exciting at 168. But if GGG doesn't wanna move up, I'm all for that. Never really understood all the weight jumping stuff and fighters being pushed to do so.1) Move up to 168 and face a top guy there

Plan was originally to be a co-feature to Floyd, Feb. 20. Now, it's kinda getting too late to announce that fight. Opponent should have enough time to prepare. Maybe he'll highlight his own card.
Nakatani will be his stiffest test at 135 (is he a TR fighter?). Not sure. That's what I want. Above all, I like to see the Jo-Jo Diaz fight. Fan friendly fireworks fight.Comment

Carl Froch. I used to think his style was nothing more than barbaric and I expected him to get exposed and humiliated as soon as he stepped to the top level. But when he got there he wasn't, he was blunt and barbaric but he was able to compete. I was surprised.
Tyson Fury is another, always liked Fury but Ive wrote him off against Klitchko and Wilder. He makes the sweet science look ugly and j
Its easy to miss what he does brilliantly and I've definitely been guilty of that.Last edited by DaNeutral.; 12-23-2020, 02:44 AM.Comment

That’s what being a fan is. Ask for something of a fighter, if he does it, show respect.
I talk sh.t about boxers who are overhyped without fighting anyone.
Currently I don’t like Crawford, Inoue, or Usyk. But all 3 can shut me up by fighting an elite fighter and winning.
My criticism of boxers are genuine. If there is nothing a fighter can do to sway you into liking him, then that is not being a critic. That is just plain hating and living in denial.Comment
