Long time Canelo fan here. I disconnected for a while during his 155 days. Crapped on him a lot.

(Sigh) time & time again I say it, boxing fans have some of the worst interpretation skills. You can't find 1 post of me on here an accurately say "this is him hating" but you decide to assume that's what I do.

Mainly The fighters I dislike, I dislike them as people & most of them I say nothing about unless someone brings them up to me.

When I see someone say "talking shìt" my mind instantly thinks disrespect & disrespectful things are being said. If I disrespect a fighter (which I rarely do) you deserve it. If I put something on your name, you've earned it whether favorable or unfavorable. Nothing you do in a fight is going to change my last two statements.

When you know your boxing you know no matter how good or how bad a fighters performance was, you cannot judge a fighter off 1 fight. Your whole opinion about them can't be based off what they did 1 night, 1 time.

& to be clear there's a difference between having a preconception about a fight or fighter & being wrong vs I talked a bunch of shìt, he beat this 1 guy now I love him.

If what OP said about Sergio Martinez don't sound fake as fùck to you. Then me & you are just completely different people.

And believe it or not, Gervonta is just starting to get comfortable in his role, going forward. I consider him the best American fighter right now, not Spence or Crawford.

Yeah, that 155 lb period was definitely a low point in Canelo's career. Totally unnecessary.

I can't say too much about him now, he's at an all time high as far as his career goes.

If he can make weight at middleweight, and I think he can, he should settle and finish his career there, minus Golovkin. I'd say Canelo has about 3 or four fights left in him. Wear and tear.

Robert Guerrero. I **** ALL OVER HIM during his lightweight days. Against Yordan he got a cut early and then pretended he couldn't see to force the No Decision when there was no blood in his eyes yet, he just didn't want to risk it. The ref and the doctor both were looking at him like he was full or **** in the corner. WACK. He would also hurt guys early and then just coast to the UD like he was Wladimir Klitschko in there.

When he moved up and couldn't get away with all that anymore he became a fun fighter to watch. Still thought he was a clown of a person (a dude who uses the Lord as a front to talk shit and judge everyone is a JOKER) but as a boxer he def got my respect.

I am very uncertain on what the future holds for Gervonta. I do think he is very talented, however not sure how his power will translate going up in weight. And not sure how dedicated he is as well.

That's all good. Not selling him on anyone. Give him a year. We talk again soon as it happens. Cheers.

I never used to think all that much of Fury, I remember watching him come up on the likes of Channel 5 where he'd often struggle more than he ought and even sometimes got hurt and dropped by smaller, minor fringe contenders. Just thought he was another guy whose only decent attribute was that he was big. He threw all of that out on its head when he beat Wlad. I was shocked when it happened. To be fair he had made huge improvements to his game in between those early fights and becoming world champion, he's really not the same fighter now as he used to be.
