        How is this possible?

I tried the shoulder roll many times in sparring with my bro and friends and it hurts like hell.

Twelf rounds non stop of that?

        How?
Angles. Most men trying to hit Floyd were trying to hit him in his head and so the trajectory was a little different. He’d deflect with his shoulders, not so much absorb them fully/block. That’s what made him so good.

Watch Berto try it. Dude would just get leveled. Floyd could essentially parry you with his forarm/elbow and shoulder or angle his arm so it’s almost slide/deflect upwards, not being hit with the top knuckles.

I remember I think it was Duran or Chavez who said what they would do against Floyd is actually deliberately target his arms and shoulders and make him take actual punishment there.

There is a difference between being specifically hit in the arm and blocking a punch with your arm not meant for it.

You can see that Callum thought he was blocking but Canelo was hitting him full on top of the knuckles to the biceps, etc. Similar to thinking you’re checking a leg kick but it was a calf kick

LOL this is the funniest excuse I've ever heard. He's accusing Canelo of veteran tactics and taking advantage of a compromised situation.

If your opponent is hobbling and hopping on one leg are you just going to stand there and not punch him because he's injured? Of course not! You're going in for the kill.

Callum Smith was probably hinting at his left arm the entire fight, like an idiot, and Canelo just obliged him.

He's also right when he says that he would've lost anyway if he didn't get the injury.

Smith is so scrawny his arms can not be used for blocking punches? What a joke. Maybe put some meat on dude?

I know Kovalev was told to hit Hopkins on the arms.
Jermain Taylor targeted Winky Wright's arms.
That was actually a very entertaining fight

Smith just said, no excuse, even with two arms, he still would've won. He was just better than me.

That's not something you see often nowadays, especially when you look at recent losses over the years like Broner (vs Pacquiao), Lomachenko, Wilder, Whyte (vs Povetkin), etc. Nobody is out here admitting defeat even in clear losses.
