If you saw the post fight interview Canelo absolutely understands English and he only uses his translator like a speaker so he doesn't have to use his own voice to speak English.

Why? Does he feel too insecure to speak English, would he feel he'd lose his aura if he sounded not fluent? Did that ever stop Manny or GGG? Hell people respect both of them more for engaging in a language they are not fluent in.
