This my friend is why boxing is so so so soooo messed up. Think about it, in what other sport could this happen? Could the 08 Patriots have gone 19-0, and then just refused to play the Giants cuz their style was "boring" and nobody wants to watch low scoring games? Sorry, but this guy is not legendary. Canelo has fantastic hand speed, boxing IQ, and waist movement. Works well against slower, straight up and down no special effects European fighters with power. But put him in there with a slick, skilled, multidimensional American boxer and I promise you it won't be the same.

After being exposed by Mayweather and Lara, Canelo's team got smart and made it a point not to put it in there w/ a skilled American fighter ever again. All slow/flawed/Europeans aside from Danny Jacobs, and Danny Jacobs is not an elite fighter.
