What does it take for a Boxer to beat Canelo ?

To make it an ugly mess of an oppressive smothering fight plan, including: getting in his chest, smother his shots, clinching, holding, leaning on him, headbutts, elbows, anything to frustrate him and take him out of his fight plan.
His tenacity to stick to the fight plan and not let opponents get into his head is probably the best in boxing. The only time I've ever seen him out of sorts was when he looked like he wanted to cry during interviews when everybody was saying it was a gift draw against GGG in the first fight.
If some fighter can frustrate him enough to get him to abandon the fight plan and get reckless, then any good middle or lt heavy can sleep him.
They're all just too intimidated by him to implement this type of strategy, they need Dillian Whyte as a trainer.Comment

I like Canelo but he is not unbeatable obviously! I think a very good jab would trouble him but it has to be a snapping Jab and you have to be able to mix things up Head and Body Jabs. Also you MUST be a very good INSIDE FIGHTER as well! If you can't fight on the inside don't even waste our time trying to fight Canelo! As seen with Callum Smith on Saturday!Comment

What excuse will you have when he moves up to beat Beterbiev or Bivol? Will you still bring up Mayweather then? Lara screwed himself for being such do-nothing fighter and the only thing anyone remembers about the Trout fight is Trout doing the highlight reel funky chicken.Comment

Maybe it is just me who grew up watching this sport since I was a kid in the 70's and watching so many great boxers I think Clenelo leaves me wanting more. Just a B+ fighter who has been very carefully matched.Comment
