Wait... now the head that GGG managed to find all night, will be able to move out of the way of some of the fastest hands in the history of the sport? He couldn't get out of the way Floyds hands... how is that gonna work?

Oh yeah... Canelo's feet are also stuck in Cement. Thats the key to beating Roy Jones. Cement feet.

Ask John Mugabi and Tommy Hearns how that worked out.

You think Canelo is going to dance around Hagler and pull a Leonard on him? Canelo doesn't have the feet for that... He couldn't even pull that off vs GGG...

Its so strange that there is this small faction of people that forget that nearly everyone, and every media outlet scored both fights for GGG.

But now he is gonna beat the Marvelous one?? LOLLLLLL

All because you just saw him fight what should have been an exhibition against a brit that trained for less than a month and showed up for a payday?
But Canelo is better than the fighters you listed. An argument could be made that ggg would beat Hagler

Hagler would beat Canelo on points. Too strong and skilled, great defence and could switch hit. Plus Canelo doesn't hurt him (nobody did).

People are acting like hes James Toney or something. Hes never had a standout performance against a standout opponent.

He fought GGG twice, while GGG was already starting to slide, and most people think he lost both times.

He fought Lara, which I give him huge props for taking that fight, but he looked silly, and the justification for giving him that fight is extremely dubious.

He fought Floyd, and literally lost every round on any reasonable scorecard.

I can't think of anyone else reasonably close to their prime whom he has beaten who was actually skilled.

He had an absolute stinker vs Danny Jacobs.

The point is, these fights we have been getting from him are a joke. We should have gotten a 3rd GGG fight, but Canelo doesn't want that kind of work anymore.

If he wants to have a legit fight, give the guy more than 3 1/2 weeks to train.

His is bringing in guys who are just there for a pay day. Chavez, both Smiths, Kovalev... things that should be impressive ( not chavez ) but aren't because of the circumstances and the timing.

If he wont even fight a 39 year old GGG which would clearly be his biggest payday, I don't know what else to say about him.

                    He use to have balls.

At 168 you gotta put your money on Canelo as his stamina is top notch at that weight. Canelo has an all time chin and defense. Hagler is kinda smallish, he had a close fight with Duran. Yeah at 160 it could be Hagler cause of Canelo's stamina at 168 it's gonna be hard for Hagler to keep up.
