Think its impossible for Canelo you could already see at 175 he was noticeably slower in the kov fight.

I think 168 is his perfect weight.

honestly, most of them are just dopey casuals. early on, at least two fans said that Smith was throwing the fight. how many fans said that because Kovalev was timid and hesitant, it means he threw the fight?... despite the fact that Canelo's last 4 opponents were timid and hesitant, including Golovkin. they are re-tards... they literally cannot see what is happening right in front of their eyes

As for Canelo facing Smith. You just can't win with some people.

When he fought Rocky Fielding for the "regular" WBA Title, he was criticized because he didn't fight the real WBA champ which was Callum Smith. Now that he finally did and picked up the Ring Magazine title in the process, it's a problem.

This is the first time in years I'm giving credit to Canelo for a win (lost both times to GGG for me and most others fans, Fielding is a joke and fought a badly injured Kovalev who himself admitted he wasn't looking to win) BUT and there is always a but because Canelo ensures there's a but.

Canelo just fought Smith coming off a career worse performance against Ryder, when there was already talk of Smith moving up in weight, yet Canelo makes the fight with 4 weeks notice. A situation where it's likely going to take Smith time to get down to weight, let alone work on any tactics.

Then Smith turns up to the fight and doesn't throw a meaningful punch for about 5 rounds, leading to Kenny and Andrade discussing the fact that Smith doesn't even look like he WANTS to win....they repeat it twice lol


So its up to Canelo if he wants to have BUTs or not in his fights.
