Ggg at 39 is still a top 3 mdw lmao

He dosen't get enough props for this. At 35 jones was getting koed by journeyman like glen johnson. Ggg is still p4p in his weight class. How would ggg do against jones that fought tarver? I reckon jones gets put in a coma.

The most impressive thing about GGG, is something that the 'haters' never want to give him credit for - the dude has been remarkably consistent in his career, and never has had close to an off-night against anyone below top level. That is very rare for any fighter.

For him to still be the same consummate pro at 38 is very impressive as well. He is what he is. If you aren't top level, you are getting KOed and will maybe win a round. If you are top level, you will give him a competitive fight most times, and probably still lose.

I like fighters who take care of their body and handle business like a pro - how can you not appreciate GGG doing that his whole career

You guys are shameless. Lol. You guys cry about opponents other fighters make but with GGg it’s the usual dogmatic reasoning. You cry about Yildirim, Fielding, Smith... beg for Canelo to stay at 175 yet GGg fights Szeremeta and the cheerleaders want others to surrender? 154-168 easy for me doe.

I thought his punch selection looked good tonight. He mixed it up real well and was pretty creative offensively. He's got a great jab but I liked seeing what else he has in the tool box.

Age is catching up to him, that's just something that can't be avoided. His cardio didn't look all that great to me. To be honest I don't think I mind Golovkin vs Munguia at all right now.

I actually like Mungia and want to see him grow some, but hey if his team wants it, then I guess line it up, if that's the best everyone can do.

Will be interesting to see if the poise GGG showed tonight was due to the lack of punching power he faced. For whatever reason, Derevy and Canelo (for about half a fight) are the only ones to force the tempo on GGG. I thought this guy would be a little busier but he was like a puppy after that first jab.

It's disrespectful to p4p fighters who fought champions in their last 3 fights.

GGG fought bums in his last 3 fights. No champions. Everyone looked good fighting bums.

I like GGG, but he takes way too many shots. He’s still good, but let’s not forget who he was fighting today. He still isn’t the same fighter he was in 2013.
