Comments Thread For: Canelo-Smith: DAZN Partners With Cable Companies; Offering Fight On PPV, DAZN Sub For $69.99

I personally think $70 or more for a Ppv is excessive. I understand inflation but I recall the days of paying much less for much more during the Din King ppv days. Hell, even mayweather vs canelo started at $65 and for that we got danny Garcia vs mathysse on the undercard which at the time was one of the best fights that could be made.Comment

Change doesn't happen like that. It's more gradual. It seems like DAZN are recognising that and have learned a bit more about the US market.
All these people who love PPV and don't know how to use an app (seems to be an American thing) can now go and buy the PPV. And they'll be given an incentive in using their free access to DAZN to go and figure out how the internet works.
Seems a smart move by DAZN.
They thought offering a more convenient product for a lower cost to the consumer would be enough of a sell, but now realise that they over estimated the intelligence of the American market. So they've adapted and dumbed it down to reflect the below average intellect of US boxing fans.

Thats the funny thing is these foreigners trying to convince Americans that DAZ-ASTER is a better option based on their broke ass third world economy. We don't care about paying 90$ four or five times a year because we can! It's called disposable income and we have lots of it. Whether you get $ the right way or the ski mask way we are CAKED UP over here son. You Don't! You live in huts and your entire village watches one satellite TV dish. You dream about America and how you can get here. We only come to your little nation for a five day vacation while we impregnate your women and leave a trail of destruction behind. And if your little nation is so well educated why are you still a third world country? Oh yeah because when all the smart guys from your land gets a chance they high tail it to America on the first thing smoking, to watch PPV. HAHA! And by the way PBC is still 80% free TV on FOX which is terrestrial, FS1 and Showtime. Thats how I know you dont live here. Now shut up before we send the Army Rangers over there to conquer your land and take your natural resources!Comment

I’ve never heard of fans of any sport rooting for a higher price of $80 to be better than £1.99 a month.
I’m sorry, Americans are ******. What’s else is there to say?Comment

Of course you have the right to do as you please...one has to appreciate dogmatic loyalty. If you want to spend $80 on PPV for PBC fights go ahead. But don’t complain that despite all of Trump’s comical moves in his presidency he almos won again... loyalty doeComment
