Again there are 2 parts- growing the base and connecting with the due hardship. DAZN was failing in both ways, so they went with the ppv option for the canelo fight because they saw the ppv sales of Tyson/jones and the pbc ppv’s.
Again, lying about failing. Tsk tsk

If you haven’t noticed, DAZN got out of a Canelo contract and were able to retain Canelo customers services by doing a one fight deal atm, thanks to Hearn.

Seriously, the GBP emails vs Haymon is so old just let it go, really. The LDBC polluted your mind. Just be a boxing fan and enjoy how DAZN USA finds new ways to steal PPV buyers.

You guys realize that DAZN is capitalizing, theft, on the PBC PPV buys along with UFC PPV theory to switch exclusively to an app? They’re basically eating $3.5 the cost should u buy DAZN for 4 months at $69.99

You are so confused you are merely defending traditional protocol for PPV payment protocol thru a cable provider. DAZN is helping these buyers switch to OTT technology.

Why do you guys insist to not be embraced with gangsta pimp knowledge?

I thought PPV was dead? What gives? Didn’t both Edward Hearn and Oscar tell us PPV was dead? I just don’t understand this, dayzin was supposed to put PPV out of business (Even though both the WWE and UFC are successful with it)?
It looks like dayzin had no choice but to admit it’s model was a complete and total failure. Lol I love it!
Well done Edward, well done. You admitted you know S*D all about boxing in the USA

You ducked my comments. I thought PBC boxing was supposed to be “free?”

“Edward” got me DAZN for 2 quid. You’re referring to DAZN USA?

Change doesn't happen like that. It's more gradual. It seems like DAZN are recognising that and have learned a bit more about the US market.

All these people who love PPV and don't know how to use an app (seems to be an American thing) can now go and buy the PPV. And they'll be given an incentive in using their free access to DAZN to go and figure out how the internet works.

Seems a smart move by DAZN.

They thought offering a more convenient product for a lower cost to the consumer would be enough of a sell, but now realise that they over estimated the intelligence of the American market. So they've adapted and dumbed it down to reflect the below average intellect of US boxing fans.

            Easy.

I expect PBC fanboys to support this.
They complain about DAZN being an app and praise Haymon for doing PPVs.
There you have it. DAZN now offers PPV for you.
              You should celebrate now.

Then when you take into account that the undercard sucks, that makes it even less worth the $70. I actually wish it was only Ppv and not dazn because I’d love to see what type of numbers Canelo would put up. I’d predict about half a mil Ppv buys at best.
Spence vs Garcia had a sucky undercard too. And they were charging more for that crapfest, $75.

At least with Canelo-Smith you have the option of watching it for $19.99
