Tyson Fury has quickly become the most overrated fighter in boxing.

But idk where the thread poster got this idea, fury SHOULD be the favorite. I'd expect him to win but I dont think its gonna be a murder by any stretch. Joshua has shown he can be dropped more than fury so that may play a part but joshua has also shown he can get up and keep fighting.

Theres def way more overrated fighters than fury tho

Exactly. Rating Fury highly doesn’t mean you have to see AJ as some sort of scrub. Fury can only be as highly rated as his era and division allows him to be, which turns out is pretty highly rated right NOW and for the right reasons. Fury is only rated based off merit. He’s not seen as number 1 because of “eye tests”. It’s because of who he beat. He’s at the top of the division and AJ is right there too.

Fury is good no doubt but his competition level is low.
3 good fights out of 30 and they sing his name to high heavens.

Serious question. Do you think that having an extra defense somehow elevates Joshua in a head to head? It doesn’t. We already saw one of the two beat fairly recently. That boat sailed. Only one of the two has shown to be unbeatable.

It’s like hey, you got us. The sky is indeed blue. ???????

Wilder has more title defenses than the two combined as an example.

No one cares if you defend your title against Brook and Khan. People want you to defend against Spence. Same thing here.

AJ has a longer resume but a loss and Fury has a more impressive peak.

I’d rather Fury’s win over Wlad and the stoppage of Wilder than the win over an even older Wlad, Whyte, Pov, Parker, Martin, and a win against Ruiz and a stoppage loss to Ruiz.
As a champ, its mandated for you to have title defences and mandatories. So far fury has non.
You can't be hiding from rematches and claim you are great.
He has done it multiple times, fury is a cunny person.

Like i say, If Fury fights and beats Joshua and he probably will, he goes down as the best HW of this era and nobody will be able to deny it, defenses or no defenses.
Lol...... What the fcck is lineal title? Do you call fighting peneitia and that other dwarf defences.
            You are embarrassing yourself mate.

Read the post... first sentence I believe? It will answer your question. Contracts legally are binding, in the real world? they can be complicated. They are NEVER related to the actual boxing ability of a fighter hence are a "Different issue." Its not complicated my friend.

I will grant you one hypothetical point: If the fight between Fury and Vlad had been close it might have been nice to see the rematch in the future... But the fight was not close.

Tyson Fury vs Wladimir Kiltschko was not a one sided beat down, Fury Bamboozled Kiltschko and just edged the rounds etc

Wladimir Kiltschko was the aggressor all night long, and backed Tyson Fury up in 99.99% of the rounds 'That is what happened, I am not sure why you are trying to make out otherwise'.

It does not matter how people shape it up? Wladimir Kiltschko a Champion of 10 years deserved a rematch against Fury 'In my opinion Fury was spooked during the entire Build up to the rematch'.

At 240 pounds and after enduring 3 back to back training camps, I honestly believe the Kiltschko that fought Joshua was in better form 'Kiltschko a man of science, has even stated this himself'.

I never said it was a beatdown. It was an easy victory where boxing skills shut down Vlad. And you can think what you want about Klitsko when he faced Joshua... I can THINK I am a pretty big princess when I put a tu tu on... Others might see a big guy in a bad way! But but Vlad aid so himself... thats not proof of anything. I think I am very smart whats the problem?

Its not always about what someone deserves, and fighters seldom "fear" an opponent. Do you or I get what we deserve? Try living in San Francisco and dealing with the permit department and see what you get after subsidizing so many tenants in the city.

From where I sit Vlad has done well for himself, not always fought the best... So this time in a fight where he was beat pretty easily he did not get a rematch... boo hoo!!!
