Yeah he has been put up to invincible status based on a couple of good performances, he is my favourite fighter and think he will beat Joshua but you’re right this is a much closer fight than people would like to believe like 55/45 in favour of fury I wouldn’t be too shocked if Joshua knocked his ass out but also wouldn’t be surprised if Fury does a Klitschko job on Joshua that’s why it’s so intriguing to me.

Tank punches harder than Fury but somehow a Fury who couldn't even knock Wallin out would KO AJ, lol.
Iam a huge Fury fan though even I admit its going to be a tough fight for Fury against Joshua. My head tells me Fury is the better boxer though Joshua's power is dangerous.

I cant call out the winner as its a tough one.

He's not invincible but he's big , heavy and awkward , and he's now showed when he puts his weight behind his punches he can knock a big heavyweight on his ass . Joshua is powerful but basic and easy to hit even for a guy under 6 foot with short stubby arms.

Tyson Fury is unbeaten, once and if anyone beats him? Only then will things change.

But as a fighter he is unbeaten, so he can claim to be unbeatable.

              Ok
Fury beat Klitschko at age 39, hardly his prime. In truth Fury has always been over rated.

Since when is beating a 39 year old heavyweight that impressive? The win hides a positive drug test which was discovered at a later date in the fight before.

Oh, he beat Wilder who can't box a lick and has issues taking it. While this was a quality win, Wilder has not boxed since and the value of the victroy will quickly diminish if he gets knocked out again.

If Fury wants a good legacy, he fights Joshua soon ( Beating him ) , and defends his belt vs top ten rated heavyweights, 3 to 6 more times. To date Fury has beaten just TWO top ten Ring Magazine rated fighters.

His resume is thin and is too cherry picked. Why? I say because he's not that good. He's good a promoting, I'll give him that.

No, that's being the favourite before the fight

Klitschko was most definitely not in his prime vs Fury

I think he has become overrated after he KOed Wilder. I think Wilder would have KOed him in the first fight with a ref who counted to ten at the standard speed and did not give so many walk this way tests before letting the fight continue. The ref saved him from a KO loss. He did not look like a world beater getting badly hurt by average punching cruiserweight Cunningham. Fury is good but so is AJ. It would be a close fight in my opinion and Fury is no sure thing to beat AJ.

I agree that he needs that weight but even though Fury totally outclassed Wilder, the performance itself as a whole wasn't amazing. Wilder was 231 and Fury 273! It was all wrong for Wilder and Fury got it right!

His footwork going backwards was AWFUL. The second knockdown was just as much to do with Wilder backing up and being too narrow footed, as it did with 273lb basically punching/pushing him over!

Fury's punches were slowing from round 5 onwards so I think he needs to come down in weight a bit and just box, as he does. He doesn't need to try and KO Joshua, he just needs to do what he does best. Its Joshua that has to try and KO Fury, no way he can outbox Fury.

I still see Joshua stopping Fury though.

I think people tend to conflate better boxer with fluidity and what looks more appealing to the eyes.

But if we're to break down ability in the ring and the guy with more weapons - AJ is the superior boxer and it's not even close.

I don't think people know that AJ can hurt any boxer with about 5 different punches from different angles. His lead left hook from long range is excellent and powerful. At midrange/inside, he can throw throw lethal short hooks with both hands. His overhand right is lethal. His straight right when he finds range is devastating. And his most lethal weapon is his uppercut.

Fury isn't going there to face a one-trick pony like Wilder who has only one weapon and that's it. AJ can beat you in different ways.

I think with Fury: he mostly likes boxing on the outside. The only time he going forward to maul you, except for the Wilder fight, is against smaller guys when he's getting caught. It happened against Cunningham after he was dropped heavily and in the 2nd half of his Wallin fight after the nasty cuts. However, he won't be able to maul AJ and AJ is the superior boxer at mid/close range and can spark Fury out at those range.

Anyway, I think whoever establishes his jab first would most likely win the fight. And I'd take AJ's variety of jab and the stings over Fury's flicking jab.
