Hopkins was such a slick and skilled boxer. I would have enjoyed this fight so much because alot of people would have picked GGG only to see him lose almost every round and not even manage to hurt BHop

No disrespect to Golovkin, he was a very good boxer himself with elite power. Just was never an elite boxer

James Toney as a middleweight was also far more skilled then GGG, lights out and BHop would easily beat all the middleweight in the post Hopkins era. Roy Jones would of course too

A better question would be Sergio Martinez vs GGG. Sergio was an elite athlete but could get sloppy at times. He was more hittable then the other boxers i mentioned

Man idk if you can say Bhop was a slick and skilled boxer, and that GGG was average. GGG's am pedigree and jab prove his credentials alone. And Bhop was great and tough but he wasn't really slick and skilled, just smart and unorthodox.

I think people can revere past eras a bit too much. Happens all over, every sport really

I'm also very intelligent, very logical, and analyze things well. Some people are incapable of analysis, or even reading, apparently.
