What promotion? Pressers all year long have been zoom meetings. The final days they will meet just like Garcia vs Spence or Crawford vs Brook to even AJ vs Pulev. None of these fights had any noise, particularly AJ whose known to hype a 80k attendance to a venue with less people than Horn vs Tszyu.

This site itself has been talking about Canelo vs Smith for a long time...

But realistically:

ESPN Deportes or the Spanish speaking world covering boxing has been talking about it as they normally do. JCC has been talking about this fight on ESPN and the boxing defacto aficionados know about the fight.

Lastly, DAZN worldwide will air the fight.

, of the largest markets in boxing, this fight sells itself.

It’s a damn good fight as well that Canelo could lose. Don’t sleep on a fight family with the best brother coming in after Liam got a read on him.

I don’t watch TV so I couldn’t see ads anyway.

My casual boxing fan friends know about it. Hardcore fans know about it. Probably a lot of Mexican-Americans and a good chunk of English people know about it. ESPN has talked about it.

Canelo has 1.5 million followers on twitter also, that’s the new way of advertising. Commercials are great but self-promoting, when you have a large fanbase, can be just as good.

Alotta ppl also saw Castillo beat Floyd in the first fight but it didn’t change a thing as far s Floyd still being the top LW at the time even after that bogus lose/win.
