They brought ward along slow and when he stepped it up, he was dominating. He at least had a bit of pop on his punches. Stevenson probably doesn't hit as hard as Amanda Nunes.

I agree. He needs to fight the top dogs. I think he's more than ready for that now. Top Rank needs to get out done.

Yeah but Ward wasn't getting a lot of KO's either and people were saying the same exact same thing about him. I remember that clearly.

Stevenson has only had 14 fights and he's dominated every one of them. So I'm having a hard time understanding the criticism.

I'm definitely going to bump this when Stevenson dominates the top fighters in the same way he did tonight. It's going to happen.

I mean, it's true. He never travelled. Struggled to separate skill wise even against guys like Bika. I don't think most Ward 'fans' on here ever watched most of his fights. They just bandwagoned on the tribal train when he had the Kov fights.

It'll still be hard to beat him. Only some1 with an awkward hard hitting style like Maidana beats him or if he moves up to quick.

Yeah, he's too much of a light puncher and still has that amateur style which doesn't help.

I wish he would get away from Kay Koroma and hook up with a different trainer.

andre ward was tKOing most of his opponents in the first 18 fights

I agree once you get to a point, youre not going to KO everybody

but hes a guy who's most likely going to go up in weight, and his lack of power is going to limit his potential

No it isn't true. It's a lie actually.
