I'm spoiled, I guess. I remember George Forman, Frazier, Tyson, Sonny Liston, Joe Louis, Dempsy and on and on. AJ is the first one to get the horse laugh and like it. He can't back Andy up and he won't come back to America. That's a lot to overlook.

He cut his eye with the first right hand he threw in the first round I’m sure he could have went to work on that eye but he boxed to instructions. I personally wanted him to return the favour and take Ruiz out but that might have resulted in him being floored again. No shame in the way he fought. Baring Fury’s last fight that’s practically how he fights against Dangerous fighters

Andy wasn't cut out to be a long term champ.
It should be remembered that the sport of boxing is first and foremost a spectacle and customers want value for their money.

Some wins leave you with a bitter taste in your mouth, just like this one. Especially when you avenge a loss by TKO

Andy never had the soul of a champion

Andy behaved as if he won a lottery. Celebrating like it was a miracle he won.

You know a guy isn't ''fit'' for the crown when they think simply winning the title is all there is to do. Defending it never crosses their minds.

It’s not vintage AJ but he stuck to a game plan and actually impressed me the way he moved. I’m not dis*****g he probably was thinking I don’t really want to engage and get into a war and potentially get knocked out but what’s wrong with that?
He tried to open up and **** in a few spots against Ruiz in the rematch. But you could see he got skittish about the return fire and backed off.

            It didn't look good.

I don't see how bad mouthing Andy helps AJs case. He not only outran Andy, it was the worst possible Andy he could run from? I thought fight 2 Andy showed great stamina considering AJ trained specifically to outrun a fat man.

I’m running with his potential. If he loses a ton of weight with his new trainer like he is stating and is in tip top shape he will be top 5. I have no doubts. He was fast when he was carrying extra weight and is really good on his feet. In the second fight there was no excuse he was completely out of shape

He also did it in an extra large ring.

He did whatever to get those belts back, Fat man Ruiz claim AJ would run in the rematch and how they have trained for that. Well he did run but the fat man lied about being prepared for that.
