I hope we're going to see the universal soldier again this time around, but i doubt it.
Hell NO! Pulev is like 60 years old and even against BUMS he has less than 50% KO's at HEAVYWEIGHT!!!

He shouldn't last more than 6 rounds against AJ.

Having taken on Helenius, Rivas, Browne and Chisora are decent fights - he isn’t a champion and didn’t have to take those fights , he could’ve taken easier fights like fury for example with Wallin, Schwartz, etc.

Wilder would be on sky sports a big fighter, of course he would be - and he should be in America too. Why that’s something you want to criticise British fans for I have no idea, wilder should’ve been on the same level in America and Joshua was in the UK if he had been promoted properly

Chisora has only been on Ppv twice - Usyk and the Whyte rematch. That whyte rematch got over 500k buys. His other fights have all been on normal tv.
Wilder didn't fight PEDvetkin because the dude couldn't stay clean. I had good money on Wilder knocking him out. Very disappointed in PEDvetkin...

Do you seriously think there would be 200k+ people watching him take on the likes of Povetkin again just after losing????

Americans value winners, we simply value Brits. Doesn't matter how bad, as long as they're British. Guys like Chisora (whose a national treasure) shouldn't really be anywhere near PPV. Good on them for making a good income for themselves, but lets not pretend as if we have any real respect for talent of nationalistic sentiment. Do you legit think a fight like Hunter/Kownacki/Miller vs. Usyk would be anywhere near PPV???

Stop man. We stay up until 4am because we know guys like Lopez, Crawford, Spence or even Tank are likely the best in the world at their craft. We gather round to watch AJ because he's likeable and British. Stop bull****ting.
I'm not taking about casuals. This is a Boxing forum where we stay up all night or get up early for Asian fights, Americans wont watch anything that isn't on at American prime time or features Americans, and that's the real Boxing fans on forums like this.

Rexy the Boxing fan didn't even know it was on? Although he's had enough to say about he so what's going on there?

BSHT! I'm the one ALWAYS buying $80 ppv fights while u all complain and CRY about it. Then watch fights on some SHT stream that crashes every 30 seconds and is blurry as ***! You see like two lil different colored boxes bouncing of each other wondering WTF was that??? A punch or a KD???

You guys are CLEARLY watching that sht alone because if someone asked me to come over and watch a SHT stream I would have to slap them and then leave to go BUY the fight in full surround sound with a 65" HD tv.... I need update it to that 85" 8K tv next.

Taking on top talent and losing is not an earmark of a PPV star LOL wtf?? By this logic, journeymen should be top billing since tons of them (like Chisora) have a host of good names they've lost to.

Wilder would be on sky sports a big fighter, of course he would be - and he should be in America too. Why that’s something you want to criticise British fans for I have no idea, wilder should’ve been on the same level in America and Joshua was in the UK if he had been promoted properly

This is insanely ironic and why I think most Wilder detractors in the UK are ******. Wilder DID NOT earn the stardom he received until he fought Fury. Everyone knew that, hence why I think success in the US is a far better earmark for true talent. You cant complain about Wilder fighting subpar opponents for a lot of his career (which he did) out of one side of your mouth and yet suggesting he should have been an even bigger star out of the other. It really seems like a lot of you would like Wilder if he was merely born on different shores. Thats pathetic quite frankly. Celebrate talent, not national loyalty. This is boxing, not football. I thoroughly enjoy watching Wilder, I like Joyce, in the UFC I like Miocic and Ngannou. I have no shared national identity with 3 out of those 4 fighters. How sad would it be for me to rule out certain fighters because of where there from, or even worse, root for guys I consider subpar like Whyte or Price just because they're British too.

I wouldn't say that I am prioritising my weekend around it but its a top Heavyweight fulfilling his mandatory obligation so what's not to like? I don't see any other top Heavyweights fighting.

Problem is, if its not Joshua v Fury; you're not going to able to please the haters.

I'm doing the same. A tenner for each of the first three rounds. If it works - which I seriously doubt - it's a perfect weekend.

In reality, what I expect is a borefest.

I will be watching but this fight just went through the motions. A defense against a mandatory with no build up and really no interest.

Unfortunately mandos have to be dealt with and it is not the best fight on paper but it has to be honored.

I just watched the weigh in and now I'm excited.

Originally I thought AJ will play it safe for a points win but now I think he will get an early KO win.

Good weigh in. AJ looks like he might be in kill mode again so hopefully we see some punches flying. Pulev triggered him there.
