Really? They’re no crap. That’s what happens when the best are always matched against the best. See, you’re not used to records where the best is matched against the best at all times. I understand.
If crap then please explain why the #1 PFP boxer of all time SRR has so many losses? Could it be because fighters of that era fought the best?
99.999% of UFC gays are nobodies being paid peanuts and told to fight whoever white says they have to fight. They have no say.
Boxing is bigger than MMgAy.Comment

Clay should fight in BKFC too. They overpay guys left and right.

If boxing promoters and fans adopted the same mind set as MMA (and boxing pre mid- 80s-ish) then it's likely that more fighters would take those 50/50 fights leading to better fights.
Instead, it's all about preserving that "0".Comment

Thing about MMA fights that people don't take into account on here is submission losses a lot of fighters get submitted early in their careers by more experienced Jiu-Jitsu practitioners therefore they have more losses than the average boxing guy but they don't take as much punishment in those particular fights.
It's funny though how people still talk about money between the 2 sports Dana White is going to cut 60+ people from the UFC roster before 2021 and several are going to be past prime big names why because they can't afford to pay them the amount they signed on for in their contracts because they took a hit with live gates this year. The best example is Yoel Romero he was just cut and Bellator and PFL both declined to pick him up because they too don't have the funds to sign someone like that at the moment.Comment

Your ignorance is apparently clear. Not just any ol street chubster makes UFC. Unlike boxing to make the UFC you’ve had to fight in lower circuits and only the best are signed into contract to the UFC. So in essence you are getting the best vs the best at all times. So please go educate yourself on MMA before bumping your gums on a subject you clearly have no comprehension of.Comment

Interesting and very unorthodox style.
Took notice when he basically beat up a good prospect, Kaminsky.
I wonder how much further he'll go before fighters on the next level begin to figure him out. But his style is definitely a spoiler for a lot of orthodox boxers...Comment

McGregor 15.2 mil
Alistair Overeem ($9.8 million)
Khabib Nurmagomedov ($8.6 million)
Anderson Silva ($8.1 million)
Michael Bisping ($7.1 million)
Georges St-Pierre ($7 million)
Jon Jones ($7 million)
Mark Hunt ($6.3 Million)
Donald Cerrone ($6.1 million)
Junior dos Santos ($5.9 million)
This doesn’t include endorsements. If each of the above listed can’t survive on what they’ve made then they need better investment managers.

And if boxing is bigger why does the UFC kick its ass on PPV?
Boxing in 2020 = 5 PPV fights, no Spence/Garcia numbers yet but the other four fights did roughly 3.2m total combined buys (with a ****ing exhibition match between two men in their fifties + youtuber vs NBA player co main accounting for over half of it), meanwhile the UFC is about to go to PPV for the 11th time this year, and their top 5 PPVs of the year did roughly 4.4m buys combined already, no Youtubers or NBA players necessary.Last edited by TMLT87; 12-10-2020, 06:14 AM.Comment
