Remember, that Evander Holyfield had to sign an exclusive contract deal with Don King Promotions just in order to get his fight with Mike Tyson. I am not saying that is what Terence Crawford should be doing to get Spence.

However, since the PBC holds all the belts and cards at welterweight then it would make a whole Hell of a lot of sense to do business with them in order to secure a fight with Erroll Spence's people because Crawford's own promoter Bob Arum essentially told him in so many words to go back to Africa; If he refuses to promote himself like Pac, Mayweather, Shakur Stevenson and Teofimo Lopez do.

Pac vs Spence is being discussed for summer 2021. Pac knows it's the biggest $$ fight he has left. Mp Promotions has reached out to PBC to discuss fight. This would be huge!!

I'd have asked why does Bud need to join PBC. It's his choice. After what Arum shamefully in public said about not caring about Crawford, though, I'd gotten out of there that same day. Don't know what's holding Crawford back.

Still, he doesn't need PBC. He can find a good promoter like DiBella and go from there.

Bud probably trying to not end up like Mikey & not fight for 2yrs. I think you take a business approach with this & not an emotional approach.

If there is a reasonable buy out you should take it but if it's unreasonable I'd keep taking bs TR fights for $4M or whatever Bud's gtd is until I get offered a more reasonable buy out or just let go or the contract ends.

Shameful isn't it? I mean Spence and Thurman were on the same side of the street, did that fight happen when it was supposed to? Nope.... Anyone using the "He has to sign with PBC" card is just making excuses on why this fight shouldn't happen.

He could stay where he is, and that fight NEED to happen. Zero excuses from either side. Spence doesn't need to sign with ESPN/Top rank, nor does Crawford need to sign with FOX/PBC.

Yeah, I was critical when people were saying Wilder had to fight Whyte and Chisora before AJ, and this is the exact same ****. People need to stop moving the goal posts. Doesn't matter who the promotion is. All of these fake fans who love marination need to go back two years and rewatch how they were marinating the Charlo/Hurd fight...I mean Charlo/Jrock...I mean Harrison/Jrock...I mean Harrison/Banana...I mean Charlo/Banana?


And I always mention how the Ali Act straight up says you can't say "If you sign to fight this guy, you can get this guy" but people don't care. They just trust promoters now.
