PBC is scared to put those belts on the line. If boxing was a fair play sport,it wouldn't be a big deal for a promotional outfit to lose control of the belts. It would be a round robin and the best fighters would work their way into mandatory status and get a shot at any belt irregardless of promotional affiliation. Instead you get these freeze outs and it is ruining the sport.
The Spence Garcia fight had no pizazz whatsoever. It was a foregone conclusion who the winner would be. Garcia had NO chance from the beginning and anyone who follows boxing closely knew that. Why Garcia is considered an elite welterweight is beyond me. He lost to Porter, who also falls far below elite status. They are both good fighters with lots of heart. But they are not elite level boxers.
PBC is saving Spence for a mega fight against Canelo.
That way the belts aren't on the line if he loses. Spence is a good fighter. But he will never be considered great without fighting Crawford. The way they keep ducking him is pathetic and there is no excuse for it. Crawford should be able to sign with whoever he wants and still get a chance at the belts Spence holds and vice versa. Peace.
PBC can make Spence / Pac next. Crawford should buy his way out of top stank contract or he will be odd man out until another 10 months. Canelo is not fighting at 160 again so forget Spence fighting him.
Crawford could also be there to talk with pbc execs or even Al himself on his next move after he is done with top rank. It's not just to watch a fight. A lot of boxing deals gets done like that behind the scenes.
Errol Spence is definitely the bigger star out of him and Crawford and it’s not even close. Honestly, this is refreshing to know that Spence isn’t worried about Crawford and all the top rank bs... at the end of the day, all roads lead through Spence at 47
All that being said, Crawford is a fellow titlist and Spence says he wants all the belts. Both are considered the top two in the division so the fight should happen.
All this other garbage about A-side, bigger draw, and resumes don't even matter.
