It's just that plain and simple.
So to get the big fight for all the titles that the fans want, he should have to sign with another promoter and likely get fed Thurman, Garcia and Porter first?

How can you guys call yourselves boxing fans?

Terence Crawford is showing up to shame you. All your fans should call you out for ignoring the challenge.

Because he doesn’t want it. “Refreshing”... lol.
If you listen to Spence going into the Danny fight all he talked about was his next two fights after Danny being Manny Pacquiao and Terrence Crawford. There is even a video interview of him saying if he cannot make the Manny Pacquiap then he will try and make the Crawford fight.

But Crawford became dismissive of him saying that he doesn't need Spence for his legacy and Spence needs him he even talked about Spence's "little career" and stuff like that.

I get what Crawford was trying to do. He was trying to play down Spence in order to make it look like Spence needs him more than he does, which would then make him the A side and give him an advantage in negotiations.

But I'm afraid his tactic might have backfired because Spence is now losing the respect he had for Crawford and it looks like he is about to give him the Thurman treatment as a result.

Remember that Spence has talked repeatedly about how he respects Crawford and feels like Crawford is a real dude like him and not like fake Thurman or Porter who likes to talk out the side of his mouth.

He wanted to make the Crawford fight not only because its a great fight and one that helps with his career goal of being undisputed champ but also because he felt like there was a mutual but competive respect between them as men and as combatants.

Crawford also talked respectfully about Spence before and said that they talked and agreed to work their way towards making the fight.

But now Crawford turns around and starts belittling Spence and all that stuff. Saying Spence is irrelevant and he doesn't need Spence.

To put it simply, Crawford is trying to create the impression that Spence is the one begging for the fight, and now Spence is trying to dismiss that impression by not calling out or mentioning Crawford anymore.

Also, Spence probably feels betrayed because in earlier podcasts that they were both on, they both spoke about having an understanding with each other and agreeing to fight each other sometime next year.

I tell you....these PBC ( Protecting Boxing Cowards) fighters like to hold the belt hostage (dentay whiner, chickenson, the whole lot at 47) and sing kumbaya...that fight between spence and both garcias was a glorified sparring session...

This guy is A stone cold b---h. Another overrated clown that's bought into his own hype.

If this Twat ever gets in the ring with Crawford(which will NEVER happen), I'm betting my life savings his soft a$$ gets STOPPED.

AL knows better then to put Betty Boop in with a real killer.

No, as a matter of fact there's a very good chance that Pac just might be Spence next opponent which is a good thing.

Pac wants that last big score of $20 mil before he retires for good and Al Haymon just may be the man that would grant it to him to fight an Erroll Spence at the Dallas Cowboys' AT&T stadium.

Now that Lomo got exposed, Crawfish takes the crown for the most overrated fighter in all of boxing. How many more of Spence's leftovers is Grandpa Bob gonna reheat for Crawfish?

Spence rightly pointed out that he doesn't show up at Crawfish's fights because he doesn't need him, plain and simple. Just compare their resumes.
                  Spence's last 3 opponents:
                  Mikey, Porter, DSG
                  Crawfish's last 3 opponents:
beyond washed Amere Con, random euro bum, beyond washed Brook

Crawfish all but admitted he made a terrible mistake resigning with Bob and now he's paying the price and looking desperate af showing up to Spence's fights.

There is a lot of posturing going on between the two. Spence barely mentioned him pre fight but mentioned him during the fight and answered questions after. He remains dismissive because I think you’d get more buzz generated if you surprise the world with a much awaited fight versus tell everyone months prior to its occurrence. Fighters also get more attention when their promoters aren’t involved on the front lines. Better to promote a fight directly at the outset of the press tour than months before

Learn to get used to it because it's the way of the world. As a promotional free agent Crawford would have more freedom and options over his career.

That's the problem with so many boxers today and the reason why the sport is so corrupt because fighters are signing these long term exclusive television and promotional deals while cutting out the competition in the process.

Every fighter should go to the highest bidder as a promotional free agent like Manny Pacquiao did with the PBC. Loyalty be damned! He spent several years with Top Rank and ended up broke.

That's the major reason why fighters end up broke when they retire because they trust the wrong people. What Crawford needs to do is to get off his ass and cross the damn street and sign a one fight deal to fight Erroll Spence if he really wants the fight.

Al wouldn't want any additional options on his future fights because he is no promoter.
