        Muhammad Ali

One of the most beloved, not just in the boxing world or sports world, but among people in countries around the world. He's the kind of man who could've been the leader of an army in ancient times.

Miguel Cotto- the aura of mystique surrounds him, not to mention there is no single ounce of literature ever written about him adding to his stoic monk like introversion. Personality wise: pretty dry though! He had large hueves and showed his true worth in a fight, not by lip service always paying homage to those before him such as Felix Tito Trinidad!!! By way of Puerto Rico. The little school of boxing island. Nobody went to war like him and probably never will. Him and jose were standouts, much like the hattons and the Pacquiaos when it came to brothers. That bloodline... They both had it in their genes, give or take one was better, unless the Marquez brothers were involved; both were great!

The most interesting thing for me in this thread is peoples perception and definition of charisma, we may be all writing in English but for sure we do not hold a common language.

that is the thing. some people like deniro is not off the cuff charismatic, but he can be rehearsed charismatic.

tyson is real life charismatic off the cuff

Ali is #1. No one comes close to having that much charisma. He was witty as hell too. Always spoke with conviction. He has fans who adore him all over the world even to this day.

Honorable mentions to Jones Jr., Camacho, Hamed, Mike Tyson, Tyson Fury, Leonard.

Guys like Pac and Tito also had their own unique charisma. They were real killers in the ring, but always seemed likeable and friendly to the fans.

A lot of other charismatic people in the sport of boxing. Don King wasn't a fighter, but he had ridiculous charisma too.

Surprisingly no Mexicans and they’re the 2nd biggest group in boxing

                  Mexicans aren’t talkers

If you go by popularity among boxing fans it was probably Ali. Almost all boxing fans love him.

It's Ray Charles Leonard for me. Articulate, witty, shrewd and intelligent.

I'll have Ali in second, though he largely preached and with no great intelligence. Big George's second coming ranks highly too.
