And as a cat who's been in the same general vicinity as Floyd a few times he's more charismatic than you'd think. I think he just loses it with how he talks, in general cuz its not usually very smooth & with specific things he says that come off feeling manufactured or to breed dissent. He's got quiet charisma more than social charisma like cats usually have.
      exactly

Floyd must have some charisma to be PPV GOAT as a defensive wizard

He frequently credits his charisma in interviews for his stardom

What people find charismatic also comes down to personal tastes:

Everyone is saying Ali, but he was too over the top for me

      I find manny too goofy

      Etc

I dont see Charisma as an action that was the power of having it,

Charisma is like a brighter light amongst bright lights, Charisma is not the arc its the beam.

I can see the immature thing despite disagreeing with your overall take cuz he does got a quiet charisma about him I feel like, but also I for sure believe he's been in numerous situations where a girl was about to give him the ***** BUT then he opened his mouth.

Few cats with social charisma talk themselves outta getting *****, but Floyd surely has. He's just not a socially charismatic cat. Its a quiet charisma he possesses.

I think Mayweather’s commercial success was more down to genius marketing over charisma. He’s not a dull guy or anything he has some charisma but I think it was marketing that was key to his PPV success.

dont get me wrong, i still get chills every time i hear the ' im the best EVA' post fight speach. but even that was kinda ruined by the eating of lennox's children line

As a person I don't like Tyson. I never did and probably never will. He is very popular now so I am in the minority on not liking him. Maybe he is a better person now but during his life life he used his incredible strength and punching power to beat the hell out of a lot of innocent victims who were not boxers.I don't like a person who does that. Very few pro boxers do that but Tyson did and he says so.
