American boxers are always moaning. If MMA pays her then great go for it. Fact is she isn't signed to one of the top promoters, and she doesn't have competitors in around her weigh class. Hopefully Marshall would be the payday fight that she craves in boxing. If i was her i would allow that fight to build up, female boxing is more booming in the UK rather than america. Thats why the biggest payday is in the UK, no one owes you anything, Marshall just beat rankins so that might be a fight that shields looks into.

I know Marshall beat her in the amateurs, just don't think she is avoiding that fight. The more people talk about you avoiding the fight then the better payday or chance of the fight getting bigger, but she definitely need to take on Marshall much more earlier now than when Marshall gets even better.

we know women can fight and it's competitive within the context of a woman fighting a woman, but it isnowhere near close to the same as men fighting.

MMA has proven that they will/can/and are committed to creating opportunities to develop female stars. Whether she can compete in that arena is a completely different discussion but as a female there is no question UFC has demonstrated their commitment to female headliners and stars. Good for her, I hope she does awesome, although I’m skeptical.
