Good move by Shields. If she can make a million dollars for a fight, that is a wise move. She should fight Savannah Marshall though, in boxing, but there isn't much scope and depth for women in boxing.

The men's fight game doesn't have any real blockbuster stars now either, aside from Canelo to a certain extent.

Its not the same sport. Championship fights are twenty minutes in women's boxing with only two minutes a round, for starts.

In Women's MMA the girls do everything the boys do.

American boxers are always moaning. If MMA pays her then great go for it. Fact is she isn't signed to one of the top promoters, and she doesn't have competitors in around her weigh class. Hopefully Marshall would be the payday fight that she craves in boxing. If i was her i would allow that fight to build up, female boxing is more booming in the UK rather than america. Thats why the biggest payday is in the UK, no one owes you anything, Marshall just beat rankins so that might be a fight that shields looks into.

Mostly because not a lot of people on here pay attention to women's boxing. Those that do probably already mentioned it. Maybe 4-5 instances of it in the thread including myself. The very first reply acknowledges this even without saying her name, same with Jubei's post.

Does she understand that her purses are influenced on what she can draw? If a move to MMA gets her more money then she should go to MMA. Boxing purses depends on how many fans you can attract.
