    In order to be SPOTY you now need to be at least 3 (if not ALL) of the following;

    1) *****A
    2) Disabled
    3) Female
    4) Trans
    5) Black or Brown.
    Quoted for truth.

Anyway, this forum should wholeheartedly support Tyson Fury for SPOTY, even if you don't like him.
Hamilton still didn't come from money. His father did everything he could to give his son the platform to live his dream. It's a great story, very similar to the father of the Williams sisters in tennis. Williams sisters and Hamilton beat the odds and became the best in sports nobody thought they would succeed.

Well the top 3 will be Hamilton, then the woman. Then one of the 4 white guys in 3rd place. That’s how the BBC works.

It's just a shame that F1 isn't a real sport compared to boxing.

            Exactly

I wouldn’t even know where to start where I came from, even getting into the smaller go-karting stuff. There just wasn’t those opportunities.

Yeah man, i'm from a council estate in the NW, i didn't see many karting guys at my school

I guess it's different down in leafy Hertfordshire.

It's just a differernt sport. To make it and be successful you have to be extremely good and gifted. You have to be the exception to the rule. I respect every athlete that makes it to the top regardless of sport. Hamilton is doing things nobody's ever done in his sport, that's respect!

In the last 10 years, 8 out of the 10 male winners have been white.

This is what I am talking about, when it comes to Tyson Fury fans 'You are all hypocrites and closet racist'.

Tyson Fury's fans project themselves onto him, because they believe they see the image of themselves 'This is a big part of his popularity'. Tyson Fury deep down knows most of his UK based fans hate his gypsies heritage, and soon as it becomes fitting? He will be turned on by all of them.

Tyson Fury does not stand for all the things some of his fans believe in 'Fury knows deep down how he is viewed in the UK, there is a reason why he based himself in America'.

Tyson Fury was mocked and ridiculed for most of his career before he was champion, mocked by the very same people who now act like they are his fans.

Note: I don't even think the sports personality of the year carry's much weight anymore, I think the voting is dubious 'But for sure only really Tyson Fury & Lewis Hamilton should be down for the win, nobody else comes close'.

Put him in a Honda and see how many titles he wins?

You don't like his heritage Deathoftheclown, and neither do most of his other UK based fans 'But you will lie to yourself, and carry on projecting yourself onto Tyson Fury'.
All Tyson Fury fans are closet racists? STFU you knob.

Tyson Fury has fans because he's the best HW in the world and has bags of charisma and personality.
