Comments Thread For: Canelo, Spence on Tap: BoxingScene P4P November Update

Vasyl Lomachenko's claims to the top spot were removed by Teofimo Lopez. Naoya Inoue and Terence Crawford showed their wares in the fall. In December, Saul Alvarez and Errol Spence have their say. The reigning, if nominal, lineal middleweight king will attempt to win an outright major title in his fourth weight class when he faces Callum Smith. The unified welterweight titlist will test his mettle after nearly losing it all in a car accident last year against one of the best left hookers in boxing, Danny Garcia.

Garbage. Inoue #2 his last five wins are the who's who of who the hell are they? With the exception of the shell of Donaire who he went life and death with. Although Inoue's first 15 wins were amazing when he beat the likes of? Oh wait. Nobody.

I don't get it either??? Donaire went life and Death with Inoue. Lost to Tiny Rig. Ko'd by Walters, lost almost every round Frampton, and LOST to Jessie Magdaleno!!! And that was when he wasn't 100 years old...

Exactly. I watched all those fights. I remember the Frampton fight well and he won that at a landslide. Made Nonito look old. And years later he's having a 50-50 war with the number 2 p4p in the world! I think not. Inoue is at best top 20. I'd personally have him nowhere near that either. But 2! Laughable.

inoue has beaten as much world champs as crawford, all ranked fighters too, beating them easy except for nonito in which he beat him clearly anyways....

crawford at number 3's ww resume is full of non ranked fighters inside the top 10 with the exception of kavaliuskas and jeff freaking horn if i'm not mistaken

inoue also has not lost to a salido caiber fighter

so yes , inoue is rightfully at number 2 right now behind canelo

the updated P4P list will generate a good ol fashioned cry-a-thon

and as usual... muppets will be crawling out of the woodwork to cry about resume, despite the fact that resume is not genuine P4P criteria... just like every single month, for the last 5 years, whenever the P4P list is updated

when those muppets read this post, and their tears are replaced with outrage, they will explode with venom... insisting that resume is crucial... I will ask them how 15-fight Teo got ranked P4P?... and then I will ask them why Roy Jones is not ranked P4P with his stunning resume?... along with Pacquiao, etc... LMAO

those muppets will then prepare themselves, to perform the exact same ******ity, this time next month... when the P4P list is updated again

                ceteris paribus:

if all things (weight) were equal ... who would win ... based on style/skills/form?

how would each of those fighters matchup against a range of opponents from within their individual divisions, and above?

THAT... is p4p criteria.... not resume... or Teo simply would not be there, and Pacquiao would be #1

we do this... every... single... month... LMAO

                    thank you

P4P fighters lose all the time

having a better resume than Teofimo Lopez, did not help Lomachenko

style/skills/form... and the eye-test, for ring generalship/ringIQ... resume is a factor, because it answers questions about levels... but it is not the predominant factor

                    e.g.
everyone (correctly) rated Golovkin, when he was steaming through total scrubs

this is all just common-sense, no real boxing knowledge required... selecting a P4P list is where boxing knowledge is required... which completely throws the casuals for a loop, because they know that they need a roadmap
