Not enough credit to the work Roach did with Rosado. I doubt Jacobs expected so much difficulty getting passed Rosado’s jab and his improved defense. He isn’t normally so hard to hit.

Yes , this fight ****** and it was super boring, but what a travesty for robbing Rosado of victory he deserved. When it was over I knew Jacobs would somehow win because DAZN wasn’t going to allow their guy to lose. Bad for boxing

Danny Jacobs showed nothing

I pick everyone at Super Middleweight as Champion to beat him and he don’t want Calab Plant, Jacobs won but the most boring fight in the world and I’m so glad I went to sleep and got up to watch this morning. Danny may be done!

Jacobs has to leave Hearn and DAZN or these types of dismal performances will most likely be the norm for him.

Other than opponents selected for him, why would you think a promoter
(Hearn) or content provider (DAZN) would have an impact on his performance?

I think his "exciting" performances probably had more to do with his weight cuts at 160 and the level of opposition he has faced. He was a big weight drained guy who faced average competition.

Prior to GGG, his best opponents were Pirog, Mora, Truax and Quillin. Pirog KO'd him, light-hitting Mora dropped him, Quillin was overrated and Truax is a journeyman.

As his competition level increased, he became less aggressive. Now he's at 168 and doesn't have the huge size advantage over opponents.

Very pedestrian fight. It was close and neither seemed to really separate themselves in my opinion. Rosado looked better than fights before, his offense was more measured but effective and his defense looked much improved. Jacobs looked like he was in a sparring session.

I would have probably given it to Rosado but it was close and very hard to stay motivated and focused watching it. For two guys who talked so much, there seemed to be no emotion or urgency involved.
