Nobody liked him when he was boxing, I guess some just like jumping on bandwagons.
He is arrogant, ignorant and deluded. Whilst I respect his record, I don't like him as a person and found him extremely boring to watch (he used to cuddle up and lean on people until they were tired before throwing any punches). It was effective, but extremely tedious.

Lewis is an ATG. He’ll never receive the credit he deserves by many so called fans.Leave a comment:

I am not writing Lewis off. He had a great career and is an ATG.
I’m just calling out the whitewashing of his KO losses and the misleading claim that “he beat everyone he ever fought” while ignoring the context that two of those guys destroyed him.
Also, to the guy discrediting Floyd and Ward, can you imagine if Floyd was KO’d by Maidana or if Ward was KO’d by Kovalev and still won the rematches, these guys would never defend them the way they are defending Lewis.Leave a comment:

so?
he was massacred by bums. those losses are on his record.
that not true lol.
we have already established he was ko by mccal and almost killed by rahman

He did get KOd by average HWs twice, thats HW boxing im not denying that. Flaws in his defence and preperation.———————————-
You are jumping on a conversation that has a longer thread than what you caught in but I’m not going to be disrespectful like you.
I was incorrect to write that McCall was KO’d by Bruno. I’m not sure how I mussed that. Regardless, McCall did lose to Bruno and had several losses by the time he blasted Lewis out. You can correct me without the attitude.
Lewis win the fight. I’m just using the same logic the guy I was responding to was using.
Andre Ward beat everyone he fought so did Floyd and so did Calzaghe. They retired undefeated.
You and that guy harp on about Lewis beating everyone he faced yet he got KO’d twice. By nondescript guys.
Instead of addressing my point, Side-Knee goes to discredit Floyd and Ward. Talking about gift decisions. Which is what Lewis got against Vitali. That’s not a knock on Lewis. It’s a jab at you guys that keep defending Lewis’ spectacular losses to guys that are not in the top 30 HW boxers of all time.
So to use your logic, Lennox Lewis lost twice by KO. Period.
Writing him off because of that though? Especially if you take into account the rest of his career. Nope. Under Steward he was a scary proposition.Leave a comment:

Come on now.
Lewis would body bag Wilder. It would be brutal. Same with AJ. Boxing skills from Lewis levels above
The Fury fight would be interesting Lewis power would tell.Leave a comment:
