On the contrary you can he duck Chris Byrd by your logic since he was the IBF mando and he dropped his title for a Mike Tyson fight. Why didn't Vitali rematch Corrie Sanders? That fight was worth a rematch

Tyson was a harder fight and more money why would he fight Byrd ? Do you have a link showing Sanders wanted a rematch ? Lewis didn’t retire until Vitali was forced on him so why would Byrd be relevant ? Lewis had options he was still active.
