Oscar comes off as extremely BITTER right now and I totally get it he just Lost his Superstar Boxer Canelo Alvarez so he is frustrated with the sport of Boxing right now and rightfully so. He is having regrets and is probably thinking back to if he would've been able to KEEP the Roster that he had then things would be different and he is rightLast edited by sicko; 11-22-2020, 10:13 AM.Comment

Tbf it wasn’t Oscar’s fault. Bob was to blame for that. Bob was Donaire’s main promoter btw during that time.Comment

Oscar needs to look in the mirror, he lost a lot of fighters to PBC not being focused as a leader on his own organization. He allowed Haymon to get to close to his money safe while he was in his lingerie closet, next to his alcohol & drug cabinets.Comment

Yes Golden boy played a role but outside of Canelo, most of the work golden boy did with those guys was thorough Richard SchaeferComment

this is spot on, richard deserves a lot of the credit but there is no way he does it without the use of oscar and the golden boy name he had built over his career.
But Schaefer was the freaking man when oscar was gone in rehab and trying to save his marriage.
I wouldnt be surprised if oscar blackballed him after they split. It was not an amicable split by any meansComment

Oscar may have gotten some of these guys off the ground, but hardly any of them got their big breaks in their career until 2015 or after, when they'd all gone to Haymon. GBP hasn't become so badly diminished as a force in boxing for no reason, it's under extremely poor management even by this sport's low standards.Comment

And out come the alt right Al Haymon haters like clockwork lol. It hurt doesn’t it boys....if the coloured bloke would just get out of the way then your idols Hearn and DLH would be doing so well lol. Pbc has been “failing” since 2015 right children? They failed their way into two contracts with FOX and Showtime while dazn USA teeters on failure, lawsuits, and forced reevaluation of contracts.....oh well, there’s always Pizza Patron......Last edited by Oldskoolg; 11-22-2020, 11:20 AM.Comment

He should have sought a deal with ESPN, FOX, Showtime, NBC, etc....what hurts the sport is the average American sports fan not having access to boxing and whether the militants in foreign countries like it or not the average sports fan doesn’t have dazn and never will.
