Goldenboy did build most of the PBC roster, that's just a fact.

Al Haymon lured fighters away with the promise of making and keeping more and it simply hasn't happened.

      I've always said this.

How many stars has PBC built up on their own, from the ground up, that have zero connection to GBP?

You guys on here kill me. When has Mikey ever done a ppv besides the one with Spence? Didn't he just pack a stadium full of 7K fans against Jesse Vargas? And didn't Spence just do the exact same ppv numbers against Porter, as he did with Mikey?

What, was Shawn Porter responsible for selling that one???

One thing you're right about, is it does take 2 credible fighters to sell a ppv, but Pacman is a proven draw, Mikey is the opposite.

Get your head out of your a$$. I'm done.
The old “black fighters don’t sell” lol. It’s still alive on boxingscene I see. One only has to look at the ratings Mikey has done on showtime and compare them to the ratings, PPV sales, and ticket sales spence has done. These folks just can’t stop can they

1,000,000% facts. Either dudes are racist and can't hide it, or dumb as hell.

They think that if they just don’t mention any aspect having to do with race it prevents them from being recognised as such. Let us go back to the writings of the man from Stratford-Upon-Avon...”a rose by any other name would smell as sweet.” In the case of the hatred for Al Haymon, a foul smelling hatred driven by one thing....and they know that. Racism within groups is like Fight Club....”the first rule of fight club is we do not talk about fight club. The second rules of fight club is we do not talk about fight club. The third rule of fight club is WE DO NOT TALK ABOUT FIGHT CLUB.” And that sir is “on code.”

Richard Schaefer is the one that built Golden Boy. Soon as he left it went down hill for them. If Canelo wasn't locked up under contract they would be out of business already. All of a sudden he wants to work with the PBC. If that's the case the WBO champ can face his mandatory, or unify with Charlo.

Ryan Garcia is there biggest star left and he doesn't seem to be happy.

True! This gets left out when talking about the Haymon and GBP split! If I remember correctly only Lucas Matthysse stayed and signed a contract with GBP as well as a few other fighters. They was indeed given options to stay. Leo Santa Cruz contract was Sold to Haymon also

                      Gervonta Davis
                      David Benavidez
                      Andy Ruiz

There are plenty of fighters that were not signed to Gold Boy but used them as a promoter, but didn't reach the next level until after PBC fighters separated from them.

Spence and Wilder became PPV because of the PBC. Golden Boy stole Canelo from another promoter and got sued for it. Their best known fight of the past few years.
