There are plenty of fighters that were not signed to Gold Boy but used them as a promoter, but didn't reach the next level until after PBC fighters separated from them.

Spence and Wilder became PPV because of the PBC. Golden Boy stole Canelo from another promoter and got sued for it. Their best known fight of the past few years.
spence was never signed to oscar either

Caleb Plant, Benevidez, Keith Thurman with his 4m+ ratings win on the first PBC in 2015. Shawn Porter. The Charlo brothers gained their current notoriety on pbc and on and on. Maybe the original poster doesn’t live in the USA?

Other fighters from other promotions may have bigger purses on paper but when you cut out the 20-30% for the promoter, on top of the 15-25% for the manager/advisor and then add in the fact that the boxer is dealing straight with the distributors, the vendors, the site, and is getting a percentage of every hot dog, drink, program, t shirt, and ticket sold....the pbc fighters are killing it in take home money. Someone on dazn who is making a 10m purse is losing half that alone to promoter and manager, pays the taxes for the promoter, then loses another hefty percentage to taxes, gets no back end money, pays his corner, and ends of taking home less than half of that purse.....
I agree. I even heard Danny Garcia once say how Al showed him how the business works behind the scenes and even advised him about investments. I've heard very few of his fighters ever complain about Haymon. Guys like Bob and Eddie refuse to open their books and Oscar is too busy getting high and wearing women's lingerie to care about his company. PBC was supposed to be dead and buried by now, but looks to me like the most viable boxing entity on the planet. Bob has always resented Al because both are Harvard guys and Al knows Bob's type like the back of his hand.

Yea Oscar you was missing in action for majority of those guys career while they was fighting under golden boy promotions..... None of them had promotional contracts with you which is why they all left you once pbc started.... haymon, Schaffer, and even Gomez kept your company from going under ground while you was raping underage girls and sticking kitchen utensils up your azz sit down and stop coming off bitter because you lost your last person to keep company relevant

And while we're on the subject of ridiculing pbc ppv numbers, what did Terence do with Khan? What did Jacobs and Golovkin do on ppv?

If you want to make the argument ppv should be reserved for only marquee fights, I agree. But let's not pretend other promotional organizations don't do worse numbers than pbc. And let's not pretend you don't have ppvs in the UK like Whyte-Povetkin doing worse numbers than Davis-Santa Cruz, at a third of the price.

If PBC is in trouble, then everyone else is too. Oscar's had a rough go as of late, so the question is how much longer GBP has. Cleary Ortiz and Garcia won't be sticking around for the long haul.
Where did you get the numbers for the Davis/Cruz fight?

There's a reason they haven't been officially released. Anything you read on the subject is clear lies and propaganda like the rest of it is.

PBC would be happy to release official numbers if they weren't bombing left right and centre like we know they do.

They didn't build Andy Ruiz from the ground up. Try again.

So basically just two? Gervonta and David Benavidez (depending on whether or not you think he's a star?)

Good grief, learn some proper English. You sound like a moron.

Bet you're the type to say "ION" instead of "I don't" .

That's a lie. Oscar was in between rehab stints while a majority of those fighters were being built up by Haymon, Schafer and Showtime.
