Crawford needs a win over Pacquiao the way Mayweather needed one over DLH.

But hopkins, tito, and mosley didnt go on to become ppv stars by beating oscar

    Why?

Look at what Floyd became after he left Bob.

What was stopping him from becoming that with Bob?
Floyd refused to fight threats is what stopped him. He wouldve made his biggest, at that point, purse in his career vs Margarito. He said fk no, and good for him, then fought DLH and went on to Superstar status.
Bob builds them up, they leave and become powerhouse, big purse winning boxers.....a la dlh, cotto, tito, pac, and floyd, obviously.

People saying bud has no personality are clueless and never saw his interaction with spence that went viral. He can switch it on anytime. Speaking of other top rank guys that were promoted heavily by bob....does loma even have a personality? He can't even speak english well! Saying bud has no personality or is boring to watch is just hating. As a boxing fan, bud is a joy to watch in the ring.

Sorry, what I meant to say was Don had all of the heavyweights. Heavyweights had to sign with King.

Personally, I find it better that Bud is more quiet and reserved. I know a lot of people like the brash and loud fighter, but Bud being a quiet dude is a breath of fresh air IMO

well, 2 years later Tito was utterly exposed by Hopkins. Hopkins never moved the needle because outside of the Tito fight and a handful of others, he was boring to watch. As for Shane, His first big fight after the Oscar fight was to Vernon Forest. Then he got a gift against Oscar in the second fight and immediately had two fights with Winky Wright.

Haymon is nothing but King with a Harvard degree. He does not outright steal from them the way king did, but he manipulates his fighters giving them bad financial advise regarding their careers. He is like a financial adviser who only cares about the money he makes from you and not the money he makes for you.
Spence Jr is doing his 3rd Straight PPV (if Spence Jr wasn't doing well on PPV then Fox would've took him off PPV and put him back on FOX or sent him back to Showtime)

Wilder has Done 3 PPV's as well

He built him up from the ground all the way up to whatever level De La Hoya’s shadow was at...
