Look at how PBC or Mayweather promotions promoted a fighter like Gervonta Davis.. they knew if they tap into the black entertainment community, they can easily promote him and make him a household name amongst blacks and others..

You think Bob Arum is going to organize Shakur Stevenson's career in such a way.

    I highly doubt it.

        You're sadly misinformed.

Pacquiao fought on PPV long before he got in the ring with De La Hoya.

Gervonta's last PPV did less than 200 thousand ppvs. How is he a PPV star?

            yeah I dont know

but Bud isnt a boring fighter

            hes been KOing ppl

I get the feeling he doesnt want to sell out (by being flashy or a trash talker)

he needs the opposition, and a villain

Go inform yourself by looking at their PPV numbers before and and after DLH.

...after the last performance, watch what his next one does.

Your last performance dictates your future viewership.

Well, Oscar was with Top Rank until his first Mosley fight, so him? Manny Pacquao? Or how about guys like Sugar Ray Leonard? Duran? Haglar? Hearns? Mosley?

De La Hoya was PPV star three years after his pro debut.

Mayweather was signed to Top Rank 10 years and got to live in De La Hoya's shadow even though he was better than him in every way.

Arum is a f^cking LEGEND can't take that away from him...

With that being said, Don King was the one who was always better at Promoting Black Fighters from what I remember. Don King use to go on every Radio Show, Late Night TV Show and promote his fights, you just don't see that anymore in boxing and I do think that is one of the reasons why the Sport has Declined in Popularity. Bob Arum was/is great at Making fights Bigger on the Mainstream and more of a Crossover Promotional Event in America so when both came together to make fights it would be Historic Events

Arum has made comments about struggling to get a Black Audience to Come out and he also said White Americans are not into Boxing anymore because it is no White American Fighters so he knows.

Long Story Long... Bob has NEVER Created a Black PPV Star EVER!
