Terence Crawford is arguably, the best pound for pund fighter in the sport right now but the problem is he has no fanbase and neither does Spence.
You sound dumb. You better check Spence's numbers who's already sold out Dallas Stadium and headlined ppv. YDKSAB

To blame Arum for Floyd leaving is nonsense. Floyd was never going to let anyone handle his career because he like RJJ wanted to be in charge of it. Floyd just had to rationalize and come up with excuses as to why he left Arum when the truth is Floyd just wanted to be the one in charge of his career. I do not know why he keeps up with this pretense that he left Arum because of x reasons when it is perfectly ok with him to say I left him because I wanted to be in charge of my own career. There is nothing wrong with Floyd leaving Top Rank for the reason I stated above.

Its funny to see the Hearniacs turn on him because he defended Crawford and chided Arum. Some of you have some crazy mentality that someone has to own/control these fighters and they shouldn't be the primary benefactors of the risk they take fighting.

So you have the reason why Floyd left and Floyd is actually wrong for his own reasons for leaving TR? Wow. Talk about delusion. This comment doesn't deserve more words.

GGG is another perfect example he was not willing to take heavy punishment from Canelo in order to get inside and win. This ability is usually only ingrained in Mexican and African American fighters. Yes, some Irish and Italian fighters have a quality to take punishment, but they usually lose in the process. Loma was not able or willing to take punishment from Lopez and do what was necessary to win, that is what makes a great fighter.
I was mainly talking about the fighters marketability not their attributes or abilities.

Simply put Crawford, Spence not even Loma have a fanbase and thus do not sell.

Teo because he's Latin and speaks English (which is a plus) has a chance to sell to the huge Latino boxing audience and become a crossover star.

Arum stated it because he knows the relationship is over and Crawford is leaving. If Crawford signs with PBC it will be a bad move because there will be no assurances that him signing with PBC he will fight their best welterweights because as history has shown that is not the way PBC does business. The only fighter who would step up and fight him would be Porter. The rest would make excuses and we will get a laundry list of Crawford fighting nobodies for the next 2 years.
