There needs to be a 'Spot Resolution' on this, where someone demands the NSAC show them the spot where this headbutt occurred. Unfortunately, the NSAC is free to act without any consequences or supervising authority.

I watched the fight live and all the replays in slow-mo.

I watched them go over it for near-on 30 minutes after the fight.

Irewatched the fight on YT trying to find a headbutt and didn't find one.
Can't see one headbutt.

Shiat is ridiculous.

On the off-chance I am wrong and missed it, can someone post the video where the headbutt occurred? the full fight is on YT so should be easy.

To me, he got thumbed in the eye. Besides, I never seen a head butt cause that type of damage. It was clearly a thumb

If the thumb part of the glove catches the eye then that is not a foul.

I still think that is inconsequential as I seen multiple hard jabs to the eye area that are more likely to cause that kind of injury....... loads of evidence of clear punches landing.

No headbutts or thumbs causing the damage though

Fans, unfortunately, have a short memory. Russell Mora should be heckled at every future gig. The NSAC is every bit as crooked as Mora so don’t expect anything from them.

Thumbing shouldn't even be happening anymore in boxing.

Maybe it's time to redesign boxing gloves so that the thumb can't be jabbed into the eyes.

This incident makes me question my like of boxing. NO WAY was that a headbutt....but the issue is that the two jabroni's who supposedly reviewed the replay tapes either willingly did not see the jab that caused the eye swelling or were on the phones asking for "advice" as to how to make the call.

Disgusting. I really feel for Moloney. As I've said I nearly always support the US boxer and I have nothing against Franco but I hope Moloney KO's Franco quickly next time and I hope there's a next time.

Go back and look at Larry Holmes fights. He would throw an uppercut and the top part of the thumb knuckle would catches guys in the eye and the eye would swell up same as last night. Scott ladue
