You need to look a little more objective at things. That being said it cant be ruled out that the shot from Crawford would do the same thing 3-4 years ago. But please dont put Bud on a pedestal, he basically just beat a damaged, older, weight drained guy. Time for him to step up and face porter, thurman, spence level...not go for the old man Pac. He is already a multimillionaire so he should focus on his legacy at his age.
I'm not praising Crawford, I'm questioning what happened to Brook that such a punch had that much effect and I'm saying I don't buy the inertia explanation.

I'm thinking his face wasn't fully healed like he said or it was the weight cut.

All I know is, Zerafa landed plenty on Brook and Brook didn't react like that there, either. And Zerafa isn't a soft puncher.

    Just weird.

I heard some people say, Bud beats Floyd. Even at this age if Floyd was active, Bud will have real problems with Floyds jab.He is very hittable. Brook showed in 3 rounds tonight. Brook is just damaged. One hit on eyes, done.
agree. And he was blinking a lot after that shot so he may have damaged his eye again. Time to quit and enjoy the millions. He can be proud of his career, he took risks that most boxers today wont take

      • When I was watching Mark interview Brook, somehow I flashed to Mark interviewing Tyson and this skit mocking Tyson that I saw a while ago, LMAO!!!!!!

Kriegel adds absolutely no value to the broadcast. His takes are stale and he thinks he's more wise and insightful than he actually is.

I have no real problem with Bradley, Ward and Tessitore and I think they are getting better as team. Timmy is Timmy, Ward is reserved, articulate and always has his subtle bias towards fighters in which he sees something similar to himself. Tessitore is just a solid professional play by play guy whatever the sport. Kriegel has to go tho.
I think Kriegel has footage of some ESPN exec with some hookers or something cause he aboslutely is annoying as hell, no one like em and brings no value to any of the shows.

          • Kriegel is pathetic, he's a one hundred times worse than Teddy Atlas was... Mark knows absolutely nothing about boxing

            • Someone like iron-chinned Danny Garcia would have made a much better fight tonight for Crawford, I believe. At least many more rounds. If Spence wins his next fight, Spence vs Crawford has to happen for 147 supremacy. There is no way that 2021 should pass without this superfight.

I agree it looked a little weird. I believe he may have damaged his eye again or maybe his punch resistance is just gone due to previous damage/weight loss. But who knows, maybe it was just a perfect shot but it did not look like it.
Actually I cant believe he continues fighting with those life changing damages he had. I guess he dont need money after the millions he has earned.

There is ample evidence of fighters losing their punch resistance after a bad KO. Tommy Morrison is a prime example that comes to mind. It took 20 unanswered monster shots from Ray Mercer for him to fall in his first loss. He went down fairly easily after that. The human skull wasnt designed to be repeatedly punched.
