And this is why boxers avoid the risk of the KO artists. Brook stubbornly fought against hitters that could ruin careers.

I respect his bravery, but at the same time, I'm disappointed on the high risks fights he took.

Thats what real fighters do. Brook should be showered with praise for fighting the baddest mfers he could. Instead people who have never thrown a punch make fun of him.

Brook is done.....his biggest fault is not pressing the issue and using his advantages.....on the other hand Crawford is hungry and mean loves bringing the dog out in a fight and when he hurts he finishes you.
Brook now should walk away and concentrate on his bumming in Gran Canaria.
Him and Spence is a 50/50 fight as both are great punchers with great skill

time for Bud to face a real superstar champion in his prime, i.e. Spence. All that talk about Paq is a little pathetic. He is 42 years old and waaay beyond his prime. Of course I understand that any fighter would like the payday and name on the record...but Bud is already a multimillionaire, he should think about his legacy only now.
What I saw from the first couple of rounds he will have a really hard time against Spence, if he isnt affected by the crash. Even Paq at 42 may beat Bud, but Paq is a 1 in a generation talent.
I am not that impressed by Bud tbh, he still needs to face prime world class fighters at 147. Brook only added the name to the record, there was a reason this match didnt fool the bookmakers and most of us.

My question is who is Hearns and who is Leonard in that fight. I actually think Bud is Leonard, finding a way to win in the end with more in his tool chest and Spence is Hearns winning the fight throughout & losing in the end.

I almost agree with you. That was very well put. I would have given Spence the nod before his wreck. I think Crawford at this point is the class of the division and a strong contender for p4p number 1. He will have to beat a Spence to get it for me.

Since you brought Hearns up it made me think what he would do with this crop of WWs. It may be The Balvenie and nostalgia talking but I think we would see a lot of Duran type knock outs. Tommy Hearns was such a great fighter. He just fought in an era of unworldy mfers in and around his weight. He is alot like Larry Holmes to me, just criminally overlooked by the general public.

We all know Bud wants the fight but ultimately it's up to Arum to make it happen. That's what he's paid for.

He also knows that it's easier to get the Pacquiao fight and the more time that passes, means more money for he and Spence.

I was very confident in Spence being able to beat Bud. Not so much anymore.

If I'm Arum and Haymon, I definitely consider it when the pandemic is over. You would want to hold this at T-Mobile Arena in Vegas with sold out ticket seats if its means rising there stock up.

ESPN is cringey as hell trying to get Brook to say and praise crawford.

Mark Kriegel is the worst. Brook was being gracious, honest and accurate in his assessment (styles make fights) and Kreigel was harassing him to state why Bud is special.

Kriegel adds absolutely no value to the broadcast. His takes are stale and he thinks he's more wise and insightful than he actually is.

I have no real problem with Bradley, Ward and Tessitore and I think they are getting better as team. Timmy is Timmy, Ward is reserved, articulate and always has his subtle bias towards fighters in which he sees something similar to himself. Tessitore is just a solid professional play by play guy whatever the sport. Kriegel has to go tho.
