I totally agree. Spence vs Crawford absolutely must take place for the sake of boxing

    • I don't get the hate for Bud other than anytime P4P talk always brings out alot of nastiness. I think Spence and Crawford would be a helluva fight. Both are elite fightees. No idea who wins. I can make arguments for either. I think both want the fight but the biggest stumbling blocks are rival promotions, pride and the pandemic.

Neither PBC not Top Rank are good guys. They probably aren't that much of bad guys either. They serve to protect their interests and their revenue both in the now and the future. It's just business.

But Brook hasn't had a bad KO. He had eye socket damage, but was otherwise game. And like I said, even Zerafa, a strong super welter, couldn't do that to Brook.

        • Weirdest front arm KD punch I've ever seen...
Not jab, not hook but well timed.

Brook loses balance when he falls forward, and Crawford caught him there.

Need to re-watch the fight. Brook started so well though...

One of my favorite fighters ever is Gerald Mcclellan. He fought the baddest, he took on the fear KO hitter Julian Jackson twice.

            Nigel Benn, ruined him.

He ruin his mental capabilities. There is always a coulda, woulda shoulda with McClellan on what his career would be if didn't face Nigel Benn. It hurts me dude. Yes, the sport moves when they take on the best, but theres gotta be a timing for this.

Like I said, Respect to to Brook, but no need to ruin life after boxing.

Agreed. You are more likely to be concussed if you have been concussed in the last. The chances of it happening snowball.

              • I always said Crawford can go up to 154 and do damage.
If no meaningful fights eventuate for him (and he doesn't have time on his side),
he should think about going up to 154 and get a title there.

                • Anyone notice the overall production quality? I felt like I was watching an old episode of WCW nitro. Arum standing at the replay booth. The phone calls at the booth for 20 mins. Miscalculated camera pan outs. Intro music echoing. Just to name a few things. Man I miss HBO production.

                  • The welterweight division is set to die if Spence vs Crawford doesn't happen next

                    It's been marinated enough

                      Haymon holds 154

Bud needs to come to his senses
